I couldn't resist the title! I am so glad to see the sun and the temperature being over 65 degrees. It was a great day out today. I actually got a little burnt. Brian and Allison did too. Shelby didn't because she begged me to put sunscreen on her. I thought come on we won't get burnt but Brian reminded me do you want her to say told you so later. So I sprayed it on. Trey slept the whole time in his stroller so he didn't get any.
I started packing the house today. It is so cute to see the girls getting so excited. Their previous life consisted on here is a garbage back or a few Wal-Mart bags go grab your favorite things and jump in the car we have to go now. They don't really concept that they don't have to leave anything behind. Shelby was really funny today I asked her to help with the packing and she brought me the lamp. I told her we would still need that for a while so we can see in the living room.
Well this past month our church has being doing a series on Marriage and Family. It has been an awesome series and I have gained alot from it. Tonight they had all the couples renew their vows. It brought back memories of (almost) 11 years ago. Standing on the stage at Kenny Memorial Church in Athens, Ohio and looking into the eyes of my Soul Mate, Best Friend and the Love of My Life. He still is today. Don't get me wrong there are things that bother me about him (which I know goes the other way too) and we have had our ups and downs (of course more ups then downs) but he still is all those things today. I couldn't have asked God for a better partner in life. I know I didn't marry the wrong man. We just both have had to make changes to make this marriage work. And I can't wait for the next 50+ years. I pray each and every day that Brian and I will be a light for our children and that they will see what it takes to have a long, healthy and lasting marriage.
Well...that's all for now it is getting late and I know that I will have at least 1 wake up sometime tonight by the little guy! He loves his mommy!
